For over 60 years, Leo Lynch has provided engineering services to the biopharma, advanced technologies, healthcare, commercial, retail, food and public sectors. Its sister company, Interact, also provides facilities services to a cross-sectoral client grouping.  2019 continued to be a busy year for Leo Lynch, with new projects carried out for both repeat business clients and several significant new clients.

Projects

New projects in 2019 included work on MSD’s new biopharma facility in Swords and on Ipsen’s new Purification Suite.  It also had success in adding significant process/mechanical contracts in the wider FDI arena.

Its workflow from existing clients has remained steady, with work for organisations such as Pfizer Irl Ltd, Bristol-Myers Squibb, SK Biotek, Takeda, Diageo, Analog Devices & Tyndall National Institute amongst our repeat business clients.

In the commercial sector, it completed both Capital Dock and AIB’s fit-out on Molesworth Street, continued on ESB’s New Fitzwilliam headquarters and started new projects for IPUT at One Wilton and The Tropical Fruit Warehouse.

Environmental, Health & Safety and Quality

Once again, in 2019 Leo Lynch was recognised as one of the top-performing companies by NISO/NISG. At the 28th Annual NISO/NISG Occupational Safety Awards, it was awarded the “President’s (Construction) Award” and “Consistent High Achiever Award”.

Commenting on the awards, Sean Smith, Leo Lynch, Managing Director, said: “These awards are a tremendous endorsement of the positive and proactive Safety Culture within the company.  Furthermore, they demonstrate our continuous quest towards World Class Safety performance and workforce’s efforts to ensure we are leaders in best practice.

In 2019, the company was also successful in being re-certified to the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and Safe-T-Cert standards. These three standards, along with Lean construction and BIM, make up its Integrated Management System (IMS); continued implementation of its IMS continues to show significant benefits in project outcomes.
